Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about The Peptide List.

General

What is The Peptide List?

The Peptide List is a comprehensive, neutral directory of verified peptide providers including CPS-certified physicians, FDA-registered compounding pharmacies, and vetted clinics across the United States and Canada.

Is this service free?

Yes, the directory is completely free to use. We do not charge patients or require registration to browse provider listings.

Do you make money from provider referrals?

No. We have zero affiliate relationships. Providers can optionally pay for premium verification badges, but this does not affect search rankings or placement.

How often is the directory updated?

We update provider information weekly and verify all FDA registrations and CPS certifications monthly against official databases.

Finding Providers

What types of providers are listed?

We list CPS-certified physicians, FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facilities (compounding pharmacies), licensed clinics, telehealth providers, and peptide testing laboratories.

How do I know if a provider is legitimate?

All physicians are verified against the Clinical Peptide Society directory. All pharmacies are verified against the FDA's registered outsourcing facilities database. We display verification badges on all confirmed listings.

Can I filter by location?

Yes. You can filter by state and provider type. Use the search function to find providers by name or city.

Do you list international providers?

Currently we focus on US and Canadian providers. International expansion is planned for the future.

Safety & Verification

What does 'verified' mean?

Verified means we have confirmed the provider's credentials against official databases (CPS membership for physicians, FDA registration for pharmacies). It does not indicate endorsement or guarantee of quality.

How do you verify providers?

Physicians: Verified against Clinical Peptide Society member directory. Pharmacies: Verified against FDA registered outsourcing facilities list. Clinics: Manual verification of business licenses and credentials.

What if I have a bad experience with a provider?

Please report it through our review system. We take user feedback seriously and investigate all complaints. For medical concerns, contact your state medical board.

Do you recommend specific providers?

No. We provide information to help you make informed decisions but do not make specific recommendations. Always do your own research and consult with healthcare professionals.

Reviews & Community

Can I leave a review?

Yes. Create a free account to leave reviews, rate providers, and share your experiences. All reviews are moderated for abuse but remain unfiltered for honest feedback.

Are reviews filtered or censored?

We only remove reviews that contain abuse, spam, or violate terms of service. Negative reviews are not filtered. We believe transparency helps everyone.

Can providers respond to reviews?

Providers can contact us to address factual inaccuracies, but they cannot remove negative reviews or manipulate ratings.

For Providers

How do I get listed?

If you're a CPS-certified physician or FDA-registered pharmacy, you may already be listed. Search for your practice and claim your listing. Other providers can submit their information through our contact form.

What is a premium listing?

Premium listings receive a verified badge and priority support for updating information. This does NOT affect search ranking or placement. Cost is $99/year.

How do I update my information?

Claim your listing or contact us with updated information. We verify all changes before publishing.

Can I remove my listing?

Listings based on public registries (FDA, CPS) cannot be removed as they are matters of public record. However, we will mark listings as inactive upon verification.

Peptide Information

Do you provide medical advice?

No. We provide educational information only. Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals before starting any peptide therapy.

Are peptides legal?

Peptides prescribed by licensed physicians and compounded by registered pharmacies are legal. Research peptides sold for 'not for human consumption' exist in a legal gray area.

What should I look for in a peptide provider?

Key factors: FDA registration (for pharmacies), physician certification (CPS preferred), third-party testing (COAs), transparent pricing, clear communication, and positive patient reviews.
